The Tampere Room Escape branch is in the Finlayson area. The new Event Lounge with its eight brand new escape rooms is situated at the end of Itäinenkatu, on the top floor of the building number 9 (TR9). It can accommodate larger groups up to 48 players. The premises also encompass two top of the range meeting rooms and catering services. The breathtaking view of the lobby overlooks the Näsijärvi Lake.
Please check our booking calendar for all the available theme features. All the escape rooms are suitable for even small children. There is no frightening content in the rooms. The Finlayson venue is barrier-free and wheelchair accessible.

The Secret Cabin
After a successful diamond heist, you run from the police to your uncles’ cabin in the swamps. This isn’t the first time the old rascal will be hiding loot from the authorities. There’s a suitable place for your briefcase in the cabin, the only hitch being your not knowing where it is! Your paranoid uncle never told you… The cops will be there within an hour, can you hide the loot before they break down the door?
Out of Mars
You’re part of a rescue mission on the way to pick up a scientist from Martian soil. He has been conducting research on a mysterious energy source there for almost a decade now. As you search his facilities, you find he has vanished. Also, the doors are now all tightly locked and the station will self-destruct in 60 minutes. Can you find out the scientists’ secret and get out before self-destruction mechanism triggers?
Ballpit Takeover
You and your crew arrive at your usual place for fun and games, but where are all the toys? The play area looks empty and you realise that during the night all the toys have been locked up! The biggest bully of the Ballpit has been teasing you for months, but this time he crossed the line! Pekka has barred and hidden all of your beloved toys. Even the ballpit is locked… Will you manage to disarm the traps and make the ballpit fun again before the bully comes back?
The Detention 2.0
Korhonen has been the principal of his school for many years, and is finally fed up with the lack of discipline. It’s time to roll up the sleeves and put on a detention the like of which no one has seen before! The classroom looks ordinary enough, but Korhonen is no ordinary principal… The detention lasts for an hour, but there’s no thinking of advancing in classes before each and every one of the assignments has been finished correctly.
The Detention v.2 differs in puzzles from the first version, so even though you have played the older theme, you’ll still find something to play and new puzzles to solve.
Customizations
It’s possible to change the escape rooms to better fit the occasion. For example, if you’re celebrating someones birthday or bachelor party, we can change the back story of the theme or hide a gift in the room. The costs of customization depend on the amount of changes made, so feel free to contact us and we’ll find a solution to fit your budget!
There’s also the possibility to add a puzzle chest to the game. This doesn’t affect the duration of the game, as the chest is added to the already existing puzzles. You can put a letter in the chest, or a small surprise. It can also be used as a cooler, as it fits up to 8 pieces of 0,33 liter beverage cans. The prise of the puzzle chest is 25€, and you can easily reserve it at same time you reserve the game room itself.
Please contact us as early as possible about changes, and bring the things to be hidden preferably on the day before the game.
Prices 2023
Group size 2-6 players per escape room, although we recommend a minimum of three players. Groups of more than six players are able to reserve more than one escape room, according to group size. Please note that the reservation calendar is only able to reserve one room at a time. Game duration has an upper limit of 60 minutes.

Discounts
- Student discount: -6€ off the list price per student every day. Must show valid student card before payment to qualify for discount.
- If accompanied by an adult, max. two youths 3-17 years of age for free per escape room. Extra youths +5€ per person, minimum fee 90€.
- If accompanied by an adult, youths 15-17 years of age -5€ discount from normal prices. (If youths over 14 years of age play without adults, pricing according to regular venue pricing).
- Children of 0-2 years and younger accompanied by adults play for free.

The government held a press conference on May the fourth. Some of the restrictions are being lifted on the 1st of June. We will be opening our escape rooms starting on the same day. We welcome our customers to play normally while adhering to recommended safety measures.
